I [sarcasm]love[/sarca sm] the assumption that just because I have no Flash that made it past the Portal, that means I know nothing about cartoons and games. :P

Lightly amusing and a great frame-by-frame job.
And Porcupine Tree rules. Extra points for using Piano Lessons as the credits!

"The awesome-est "Awesome" movie yet."
The first time I watched the original "Metal Gear Awesome", I thought "This is probably gonna suck". I was dead wrong. Immediately dead wrong.
Now I've just sat through my fourth run-through of "Metal Gear Awesome 2" and I still find it hilarious. Egoraptor, your comic art is brilliant. I couldn't stop laughing.

Tutorials are nice to help beginners, but I must tell you that you are breaking apart your sprites incorrectly. By breaking them apart with Ctrl+B, you leave the background attached with the rest of the sprites, requiring extra work to cut the background out. Instead, go into Modify and select Trace Bitmap. Set the Color Threshold to "0", the Colors per Pixel to "1", in the first drop down menu select "Pixels" and in the second select "many Corners". This allows you to just select the background itself and delete without having to specifically cut out each individual piece.
Now, aside from that, it was a good tutorial, though I suggest adding additional music so that you have many options to choose from as well. :D

"Never thought I'd see the day..."
...when something else from Symphony of the Night would be on the NG Audio Portal. Very good job, man.
Some may say the epic-ness is dead, but I think your interpretation retains much of the original epic feeling.
Author's Response:
I can see where other people are comming from though; orchestral songs arn't my forte. Still, as long as people like it, it may encourage more skilled artists to take a stab at it.
Glad you liked it,
Keep it up!!

"There's something about this song..."
It just kicks ass. This song is a perfect example of an artist making the most of simplicity. The chords make for great background behind the on-going solo (and the lower-range counter-melody makes this sound great, too!). My only complaint is that there's no bass, but if that's a stylistic decision, then it's no biggie.
Good job on not overdoing the double-bass on the drums. I don't know why, but the general opinion seems to be "Fill the song with as many kick hits and possible because it's brutal or something" when it comes to metal, and exceptions to this rule sound so much better.
Anyway, this song's great, and I think I'll take a look at your other work. :D

"KP94 summed it up better than I could."
This is a very awesome tune, and to be honest, I'd hit your "friend" in the mouth for such ignorance if he were my friend. Then again, I'm a big fan of Led Zeppelin, and I have this eye-twitch thing every time someone does so much as misspell, mispronounce, or misname a Zeppelin title, so I'm a little biased.
